Book Club Reminder

I’ve been feeling quite a bit under the weather lately so I’m going to postpone my April recap post until Monday.  I just wanted to pop in and remind you that I have book club this weekend, so if you’ve been reading along with us my post will be up next week.  Most likely Wednesday or Thursday.

As a reminder, we are reading Miss Peregine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ranson Riggs.  I know some of my book club members read the other books in the series also, but I haven’t had the time to do so.  My review will only be on the first book.  But we have a fun and different activity planned for book club this time so be sure to pop back in and see my recap.  Let me just say, hopefully the weather is decent on Sunday because we will be spending some time outdoors!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  We have my nephew’s 2nd birthday celebration on Saturday and I have book club on Sunday so mine should be full of fun and family.

About Cheri

I'm the mom of two boys and wife to my high school sweetheart. Our oldest, Josh, is 24 and living at home while working. He just finished trade school for media arts and is looking for a job that will be a career so he can get out on his own. In the meantime he's got a steady job with benefits. Our youngest, Griffin, is 20 and in the Army. He just got married so I have also gained a daughter. Unfortunately, he is stationed in Washington so they're across the country from us. I was lucky enough to have the option of leaving the work force a few years ago, but recently went back part-time to learn a new trade working at a small family owned coffee shop.
