Wow!  Just wow.  This book is amazing!  It gave me all the feels and then some.  There is so much love between Bridgette and Bodhi coming from the pages of this story.  There’s a slight misunderstanding between them in the very beginning, but once they actually give into their chemistry it’s all heat and love from there.

It’s interesting to have a story where both the main characters agree to a short-term fling, of sorts, and really mean it wholeheartedly…even after stronger feelings come into play.  Instead of hiding the fact that there are more feelings than initially agreed upon, they both acknowledge them and still realize it’s best to stick to their original couple week plan.

Not only is there tons of heat between Bodhi and Bridgette, but the relationship that develops between Bodhi and Louie is just the sweetest thing.  I love the way Bodhi feels drawn to Bridgette’s son just as much as he’s drawn to Bridgette.  He’s great with Louie while still being sure not to make any promises he won’t be able to keep once he moves away.

This book made me laugh and cry and celebrate love right along with the characters.  Plus, it threw a monkey wrench into my ideas of where some of the other stories in this series will go.  Melissa Foster sure knows how to suck me into her stories and then keep me wanting more stories in the end.

One last thing; if you haven’t read the first book in this series you will still be able to read this one without missing out on anything.  I really enjoyed the first book, but you don’t need it to understand this story and its characters.

5 stars
