America’s 243rd Birthday

I was going to do a simple Happy Birthday, America! post for today.  I looked back to see what I’d done in years past and came across the following post from 2017. Everything I said in that post still holds today.  And, unfortunately, the climate has gotten more hostile since that time.  That’s why I decided to recycle this old post.  We’re tearing ourselves up from the inside.  Let’s stop doing that.  Let’s think before we speak.  Let’s love one another. About Cheri

I'm the mom of two boys and wife to my high school sweetheart. Our oldest, Josh, is living at home while working and paying off student loans. Our youngest, Griffin recently left his active duty Army job and is now National Guard here at home. He moved back to Michigan with his wife Kirsten and our beautiful granddaughter Hazel. I work part time and try to fit as much reading into my life as possible.
