Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. There is a new topic each week for bloggers to join in with their own top ten. If you’re looking for some new or different book blogs to read, hop on over to her site and check out some of the links.
Well, it’s been over a month since I’ve done a Top Ten Tuesday. I know I’ve mentioned it before, and from reading other blogs I know I’m not alone…it’s really hard to find motivation right now. It’s getting better, though.
This week’s topic is Titles That Would Make Good Band Names. How fun! Let’s get to it…
The Odds of Loving Grover Cleveland by Rebekah Crane
Wait, wait, wait. Don’t disregard this long title. Of course, fans would call the band Grover Cleveland to shorten it up. I imagine this as an offbeat indie rock band with a cult following.
Gather the Daughters by Jennie Melamed
This would be a total EMO band comprised of all women.
Forgotten Sins by Rebecca Zanetti
Heavy metal, of course. With a killer glam rock ballad in their repertoire.
Burning Dawn by Gena Showalter
Grunge rock, for sure
Boots Optional by Nicole Edwards
Girl power country trio ala Dixie Chicks
The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
I can’t decide if this would be new age or death metal???
Hard to Come By by Laura Kaye
Don’t know why, but I think of 90’s alternative when I hear this title.
Bayside Heat by Melissa Foster
I totally picture a small local band that plays for a resort in the Caribbean.
Life and Other Inconveniences by Kristan Higgins
Another one that would be a bit clunky, but awesome. Definitely an alt rock name.
One Summer Weekend by Shannon Stacey
What a fun and peppy name for a pop group!
I don’t know why, but compiling this list gave me a bit of a boost. This topic really is a great prompt.
Boots Optional is an awesome band name!
My TTT.
I like the sound of Hard to Come by as a band name! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Burning Dawn is my favourite here but I also really kinda like Life and Other Inconveniences… Although the latter could be a good album title. 🙂
My TTT
Bronze Horseman is a killer band name! I still need to read that book.
There are some great band names on this list. I love it!
Happy TTT!
