As you may remember from my last book club post, we were scheduled to meet on November 17 to discuss The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Unfortunately, I had a power outage the day before that lasted until that day. And, since we are meeting by Zoom for book club still, the meeting didn’t happen. I had told the other ladies I was fine with them meeting without me, but we collectively decided to meet in December with the addition of Tina’s book pick. So we’ll have a two-fer.
That being said, I’m here to let you know our next book club pick. We’ll be reading Becoming by Michelle Obama. I’m really excited about this pick as I’ve been wanting to read this one since it was published.
All of this means my review for The Secret Garden won’t be posted until after we have book club since we’ll be discussing both stories at that time. We’ll be meeting on December 29th, so I’ll hopefully have both reviews up by the end of that week.
In the meantime, if you have read either of these books I’d love to hear your thoughts. If you have questions for my book club be sure to send them to me before the 29th.
