This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is a look back at 2020…and the books I didn’t get to. Of course there are far more than 10 books I wanted to read last year that I didn’t read. But here (in no particular order) are 10 that I kept putting on my schedule yet still never opened up in 2020.

Their Christmas Baby Contract (Blackberry Bay #2)
by Shannon Stacey
The House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1)
by Sarah J. Maas
The Lost and Found Bookshop
by Susan Wiggs
Instant Karma
by Marissa Meyer
The Map from Here to There (Start of Me and You #2)
by Emery Lord

Temporary Wife Temptation (The Heirs of Hansol #1)
by Jayci Lee
Girl, Serpent, Thorn
by Melissa Bashardoust
In for a Penny (Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor #8)
by Melissa Foster
Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood #1)
by J.R. Ward
When Darkness Comes (Guardians of Eternity #1)
by Alexandra Ivy
Hopefully I can get these books in this year instead, as well as all of other books I’m looking forward to in 2021.
Great list! I had House of Earth and Blood on mine today as well. You’ve also reminded me that I wanted to read Girl, Serpent, Thorn, too! 😂 So many books, so little time!? But I hope you get around to them this year 😃
House of Earth and Blood was on my list this week too. Girl, Serpent, Thorn was one I read last year, it was pretty good, if a little slow.

Instant Karma has been on so many lists this week! I wonder if there’s going to be a flurry of reviews for it soon. Haha.
My post.
I’m sorry to be negative, but you could skip that Emery Lord sequel. It was (at the most) 3 stars for me because it was so frustrating. Not the story I think we were all hoping for.
I’ve seen quite a few mediocre reviews on that one from bloggers I tend to agree with on other books. Maybe that’s why I never got around to that one.
I’m looking forward to Instant Karma as well. Thanks for sharing!
What a great list of books. I loved Crescent City – can’t wait for the next one. Several are on my TBR list as well
