This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is a Valentine’s Day/Love Freebie. Since the majority of the books I read are romance I really didn’t know what I wanted to do with this one. There’s no way I can name 10 favorite romances. That list is fluid, changing with my moods and growing at least half as quickly as my pile of read books grows. I decided I’d list some of my favorites series instead. Now, that’s also a fluid list. And just because I love a series overall doesn’t necessarily mean each book is a 5-star read. Yet overall, the series is a winner. So, for today, to the best of my ability, here is a list of some of my favorite romance series. This is not a definitive list. There are plenty more that I love and recommend. But these are some of them that popped into my head first and that I very highly recommend.

The Whiskey: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor
by Melissa Foster
This series is part of the larger series by this author, Love in Bloom. While I’m a huge fan of the series as a whole, this arm of Love in Bloom is my absolute favorite. Every single one of these stories has made me cry, but they have also given me so much joy.

Dark Protectors
by Rebecca Zanetti
I still have a bit to go in this series, but it’s wonderful. It’s actually the series that got me back into paranormal in a way. I didn’t think I’d be interested in vampires, but Rebecca Zanetti sure knew how to hook me and keep me wanting more.

The Morgan Ranch
by Kate Pearce
It’s my understanding that this author is known a bit more for her erotic historical romances, but I haven’t read any of those yet. I do love her contemporary cowboys, though! I don’t read a lot of historical romance anymore, but I plan to get to hers some day for sure.

Hotshots
by Annabeth Albert
I was introduced to this author’s writing a mere 10 months ago and fell in love. This series is so emotional and powerful while also lighting the pages on fire. (Pun intended)

Pier 70
by Nicole Edwards
If you’re new around here, you may not realize how much a love this author and all of her stories. I have a hard time ever picking a favorite book from her, but overall this is my favorite series. Although her newest series about Brantley Walker is giving the Pier 70 boys a run for their money.

Cold River Ranch
by Caitlin Crews
This is one of those authors that I kept meaning to check out but never got around to. Then, when I finally read one of her books I was all in and can’t get enough. She has a beautiful blend of angst, joy, chemistry, and fun.

Need You
by Lorelei James
Many moons ago, I had a rough start with this author. For some reason, I went back and tried again and ended up devouring her Rough Riders series, and everything else I could get my hands on. I think this one may be my favorite series of hers, though.

Hard Ink
by Laura Kaye
This is an author I accidently stumbled upon while reading an anthology book that included one of her stories. I knew I had to read more. This series is fast-paced and will keep you turning the pages.

Cold Fury Hockey
by Sawyer Bennett
I said it before and I’ll say it again, nobody writes hockey gods the way Sawyer Bennett writes hockey gods. It picked this series from her because it’s really the start of her hockey reign. I can’t get enough of her tough guys with mushy insides.

Boston Fire
by Shannon Stacey
There’s a lot about Shannon Stacey that I love, but her firemen (and women) are tops for me. These tough men and women do what they do because they care, and watching them get their HEAs is swoony.
I think it’s quite obvious that I have no problem with the books I read also having awesome covers. No need to thank me for posting so much beauty in one place. We all deserve a bit of sunshine (and abs) in our day.
I haven’t read ANY of these, but I’ll for sure go check some out!
I thought you did a nice job with this post. 🙂

I love this post! So much fun! Mine is kind of similar this week. I didn’t do series but romantic comedy books that are my favorite. I loved that Need You series. I also enjoyed Sawyer Bennett’s books I’ve read from that one. Great list!
I need to branch out and try some different romance styles. My list this week was all about bookish romances. Great list!
Nice post! And the covers are great! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
