TTT: It’s Mardi Gras!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. There is a new topic each week for bloggers to join in with their own top ten. If you’re looking for some new or different book blogs to read, hop on over to her site and check out some of the links.

Although this feature is called Top Ten Tuesday, I’m not actually going to be posting about my top books I’ve actually read here. I’m grabbing books off my TBR list to satisfy the theme of Mardi Gras…purple, yellow, and/or green book covers. While putting these covers together I realized I have an awful lot of YA on my TBR list on Goodreads. But that’s a small fraction of what I actually read. I guess that’s why they’re still sitting on my TBR???

Now to hunt down some paczki since this is the first time in something like 17 years that I forgot to pre-order our favorite flavors from the bakery. I swear, this pre-menopause brain. Blah!

About Cheri

I'm the mom of two boys and wife to my high school sweetheart. Our oldest, Josh, is living at home while working and paying off student loans. Our youngest, Griffin recently left his active duty Army job and is now National Guard here at home. He moved back to Michigan with his wife Kirsten and our beautiful granddaughter Hazel. I work part time and try to fit as much reading into my life as possible.

My desire for YA books waxes and wanes, too. Sometimes I’m really into them, others not. There are a lot languishing on my TBR pile as well. We’ll see if I ever get to them or not …

    Happy TTT!
