Friday Favorites – 3/25/21

Happy Friday friends! The first Friday of spring in my part of the world, and the weather has been beautiful for March in Michigan. Believe me, I am not thinking we’ve seen the last of snow. We’ve been known to have snow into May, even here in the southeast part of the state. But I’m enjoying it while I can.

This week for Friday Favorites I’m sharing a podcast that I love. I have been an avid listener to podcasts for at least 10 years, but generally listen to podcasts that I would say are informational. Science, history, news, that type of thing. I don’t remember how I heard about this podcast as it’s more of a scripted entertainment podcast, but I’m so glad I did.

Passenger List is a mystery style podcast. A women is taking it upon herself to investigate the disappearance of a plane her brother was on, even though the government’s official position is that it crashed somewhere in the ocean and everyone onboard has died. You’re listening in on Kaitlin interviewing people who are connected to the flight, be it other passenger’s family members or people who work for the airlines or government employees that shouldn’t be talking to her or even a psychic. I found myself drawn into this world and wanting to find out the answers just as much as Kaitlin. I loved unraveling the clues along with her, wondering where it’s all going to lead.

Is that not enough to intrigue you? The talent connected to this podcast is phenomenal. I’m talking Patti Lupone. Yes. THE Patti Lupone! Not to mention Kelly Marie Tran.

I’ll warn you, the story is far from over at the end of season one. I know there is another season planned for this spring, though. So your wait won’t be as long as mine has been.
