This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is supposed to be Books I’d Gladly Throw Into the Ocean. While I’m interested in what other bloggers will list on this topic, it’s not one that I personally wanted to do. I couldn’t come up with my angle (is it because the book is bad, the character’s are infuriating, the plot takes I turn I didn’t like, there are so many possibilities!) and really didn’t feel like thinking that hard. Instead, I decided to use a random number generator and pick from the list of original topics over The Broke and the Bookish. I ended up with #299, which was Top Ten Favorite 2016 Releases So Far. That doesn’t really work for my purposes, so I changed it to Top Ten Books I’ve Read That Where Published in 2016.
These are listed in order of publication date. Not that it really matters, but I didn’t read all of these in 2016. I’ve linked my reviews to the titles, but they were all 5 star reads for me.

Have you read any of these books? Do you remember what your favorites published in 2016 were? There are some all-time favorites on this list so I’m thinking 2016 was a great publishing year.
I liked your approach this week! I never would have thought to use a random number generator to pick a new topic. ๐
