Friday Favorites – 6/18/21

I haven’t been feeling well lately. Some new medication really knocked me on my ass so it was hard to think of favorites while wallowing in my misery. I seriously thought of saying Sprite is my favorite since it was the only thing I could stomach for days, but usually Vernor’s is my go-to for stomach upset so it seemed insincere to say that. (Although, at the moment, Sprite is very much a favorite thing for me.) I didn’t want to skip another Friday Favorites post but just couldn’t think clearly about anything. Then, catching up on some very behind email, I was reading the newsletter from a favorite author of mine which reminded me of this…

I’ve highlighted Nicole Edwards in an earlier Friday Favorites post where I highlighted her Office Intrigue series. I’m loving the Off the Books series even more. I’m really head over heels for the two main characters, Brantley and Reese. (Which reminds me that I still haven’t highlighted my actual favorite of her series, but I will eventually.)

Yes, I love this series. But what I love even more is that a portion of the proceeds will go to The Trevor Project during the month of June. Ms. Edwards always does a similar thing for mental health awareness and depression awareness throughout the year. There is still plenty of time to get in on this. I already own the first three books in the series, but I’ve also pre-ordered the next two. (My review on book #4 coming soon!)

You can find the whole series on the author’s website here with descriptions and buy links.

About Cheri

I'm the mom of two boys and wife to my high school sweetheart. Our oldest, Josh, is living at home while working and paying off student loans. Our youngest, Griffin recently left his active duty Army job and is now National Guard here at home. He moved back to Michigan with his wife Kirsten and our beautiful granddaughter Hazel. I work part time and try to fit as much reading into my life as possible.
