TTT: New-to-Me Authors in 2021

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. There is a new topic each week for bloggers to join in with their own top ten. If you’re looking for some new or different book blogs to read, hop on over to her site and check out some of the links.

I always love finding new-to-me authors that excite me. For this week’s Top Ten Tuesday I got to go back and revisit which author’s I only just discovered in 2021. Unfortunately, there weren’t as many as I’ve had in years past. While I didn’t believe I ever did any re-reads, I did read a whole lot of books from authors who are already favorites. Now, that doesn’t mean I didn’t find some phenomenal authors in 2021, because I did. Most of them I’ve only had a chance to read one book from so far. Of course, I plan on reading more soon.

Here are the new-to-me authors whose books received a 4 or more star review from me in 2021.

Hettie Bell
Sierra Simone
Kate Bromley

Penny Aimes
Melissa Bashardoust
Lia Louis
Laura Brown

Adriana Anders

Rachel Reid

Joanna Shupe

I realize quite a few of these authors are well known and beloved by many. But this year is the first year I’ve had a chance to read their work. Plus, that just means there are plenty of back library books to read.

About Cheri

I'm the mom of two boys and wife to my high school sweetheart. Our oldest, Josh, is living at home while working and paying off student loans. Our youngest, Griffin recently left his active duty Army job and is now National Guard here at home. He moved back to Michigan with his wife Kirsten and our beautiful granddaughter Hazel. I work part time and try to fit as much reading into my life as possible.
