TTT: Books That Give Off Summer Vibes

TTT-NEW

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. There is a new topic each week for bloggers to join in with their own top ten. If you’re looking for some new or different book blogs to read, hop on over to her site and check out some of the links.

Here in Michigan, the weather has finally warmed up. I was saying just the other day that we went from typical late-March weather to typical mid-July weather overnight in May. So this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is very timely for me; Books That Give Off Summer Vibes.

The angle I took on this one has more to do with the covers than the stories. That’s not saying the stories themselves aren’t summer-like, of course some are…they even have the word “summer” in the title. These are stories I enjoyed immensely, barring one that is still on my TBR list.

About Cheri

I'm the mom of two boys and wife to my high school sweetheart. Our oldest, Josh, is 26 and living at home while working and paying off student loans. Our youngest, Griffin, is 22 and recently got out of the Army and moved back to Michigan with his wife Kirsten and our beautiful granddaughter Hazel. I was lucky enough to have the option of leaving the full-time work force a some years ago. At this time, I babysit Hazel a few hours a day and get in as much reading and baking as possible.

I love cherry blossoms. While they bloom a bit earlier in other parts of the country and world, here in Michigan it’s usually late spring so, to me, they’re a sign of summer coming.

  5. Yeah, we’re definitely experiencing summer weather here in Arizona. We’ve had excessive heat warnings all week. Yikes. Thank goodness for a/c and a backyard swimming pool!

    Happy TTT!
